Chegg — evolving into an AI-native company with products like AI Coach — is hiring an AI-Native Software Engineering Intern in Delhi. This is production engineering: your code ships to millions of students worldwide using a modern stack from Spring Boot and React to Kafka, AWS, and LLMs.
You'll use AI-powered development tools like Claude as part of your everyday workflow, contribute end-to-end from system design to production delivery, and work across full-stack, data, and cloud-native infrastructure.
Key Requirements
- Education: Final year or completed BS/MS in CS, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- Programming: Solid foundation in at least one language — Python, Java, or Node.js; strong DSA and software design fundamentals.
- AI workflow: Comfortable using AI-assisted dev tools (e.g. Claude) to accelerate development.
- Collaboration: Git, code reviews, sprint ceremonies; strong communication and feedback-driven mindset.
- Work scope: Full-stack features (React/Next.js, Spring Boot/Python/Node); SQL/ETL/data products; AWS cloud-native infra; unit/integration/E2E tests; observability (logging, tracing, metrics).
- Nice-to-haves: PostgreSQL/MySQL; Docker/Kubernetes; Kafka/RabbitMQ; open-source or portfolio; prior SWE internship.
