Overview

Palantir builds software that brings the right data to the people who need it — from lifesaving drugs and supply-chain forecasting to locating missing children. As a Software Engineer Intern you’ll ship high-quality code directly to Gotham, Foundry, or Apollo, used by research scientists, aerospace engineers, intelligence analysts, and economic forecasters worldwide.

You’ll join a small product-development team, own work across the lifecycle (idea → design → prototype → ship) with a dedicated mentor, and collaborate with PMs, designers, reliability engineers, and forward-deployed partners. You may even meet customers on-site to understand their mission firsthand.

Key Requirements

• Eligibility: Must be planning to graduate in 2028; this should be your final internship before graduating. Engineering background in CS, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics.
• Skills: Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks; coding experience in Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar. Clean, effective code and ability to learn new languages quickly matters more than a specific stack.
• Clearance: Active US Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
• Mindset: Ownership, collaboration, and trust; communicate across technical and non-technical partners; learn and decide independently while asking questions when needed.
