Overview:

ZOHO is inviting applicants for a job as Search Engineers / Search Developer, Interested candidates can apply.

Any actual production experience in Lucene or ElasticSearch or Solr is highly desirable. The candidates are expected to code, build and maintain distributed production grids of non-trivial scale.

Passion, Sense of Ownership, and Absolute Commitment to Production Support are expected from the candidate.

Mandatory SkillSets:

• Lucene
• Shell Scripting
• Junit
• Configuration Management (Git, Hg)
• Candidates must be comfortable with Lucene API-s (4. x & above) and must have good working knowledge and actual production experience.

Desirable SkillSets (Very Basic Familiarity):

• Queuing Systems (Kafka, MQ etc..)
• NoSQL Systems (HBase etc..)
• ZooKeeper
• Hadoop
• ElasticSearch
• SOLR
• A piece of basic working knowledge of Hadoop (API-s, management, etc..) is also a must for the candidates.
