Overview:

Vahan is inviting applications for Data Science Internship, Interested candidates can apply. (June - December 2022)

Qualification:

We are looking for final year Bachelors/Masters's CS students with a proven track record in previous internships.

Skills:

• Product mindset - understand the product and figure out what data is needed to solve the problem at hand
• Hacker mindset - understand the problem statement and find a way to quickly get the job done
• Ability to create analytical models. 
• Coding and web scraping: Ability to write scripts to scrape data at scale. 
• API integrations: ability to understand API specs and write the code to world use to APIs to pull data
• SQL: the ability to write, neat, clean and optimized SQL queries
• Ability to write code to clean vast volumes of data
• Prepare datasets for ML experimentation

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the machine learning team to help them better understand the current data and build relevant DS systems
• Create datasets 
• Work on building analytical models, EDA (exploratory data analysis)

Location:

Owing to the current Covid-19 situation, this will be a remote internship.
