Summer of Bitcoin, Apply for Global Internship Programme- 2021

Overview:

A global program that matches students with open source, free software, and technology-related organizations performing on bitcoin to write down code and become a part of these communities while making some BTC along the way! The organizations provide mentors who act as guides through the whole process, from learning about the community to contributing code. Students get involved in and become familiar with the bitcoin open source community and put their summer break to good use.

Eligibility:

They are looking for university students (18+) of any discipline interested in learning about open-source development and contributing to Bitcoin development.

• Complete the application
• If you are a good fit for the program, we'll ask you to complete an exercise
• Once the exercise is completed, you'll have a brief call with a representative

For Students:

• Learn about bitcoin
• Contribute to open source
• Earn bitcoin
• Contribute to monetary revolution!

For participating organizations:

• More code and more code reviews
• Identify new developers and full-time contributors
• Support open-source development
• Contribute to monetary revolution!

Duration:

• The program requires 10-12 weeks of time commitment with a minimum expectation of 30 hours a week.
