Overview
Snap Inc. is hiring a Machine Learning Engineering Intern on the Spectacles AR team in London for a 13-week Summer 2026 programme. You'll prototype and train models for scene understanding, 3D reconstruction, and vision-language AR experiences on next-generation Spectacles glasses.
Key Requirements & Critical Rules
- Enrollment: Currently in BS or MS technical programme; graduate no sooner than December 2026.
- Graduation window: December 2026 – Spring 2027.
- Start: In-office in May or June 2026 for 13 weeks.
- Work mode: Snap "default together" — expect 4+ days/week in office.
- ML foundation: Core ML plus computer vision (detection, segmentation, depth, 3D) and/or LLMs/VLMs.
- Technical work: Scene understanding, geometric/semantic 3D, visual localisation, Python + modern deep learning frameworks.
- Environment: Comfortable in Linux; quality code, Git, testing, documentation.
- Preferred: Coursework/projects in deep learning; production integration with mentor support.
