Overview
ShuttleCloud is a fast-growing, engineering-led startup headquartered in Madrid, serving customers mainly in the U.S. and Germany. Incubated at Techstars NYC and backed by SV Angel and Third Kind Venture Capital, its products move, measure, and manage data across email migration, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 analytics, and industrial IoT/business intelligence.
As a Software Engineer Intern you’ll join the Madrid engineering team and contribute to real production systems — not toy projects. Work may include backend services for large-scale email/contacts migration, data pipelines and APIs, Workspace/M365 integrations, internal ops tools, and product features for Email Meter, Reportative, or the migration platform.
Key Requirements
- Fundamentals: Strong programming fundamentals; experience with at least one general-purpose language.
- Interest areas: Backend engineering, distributed systems, data, APIs, or cloud infrastructure.
- Mindset: Clear reasoning, debugging ability, independent learning; care for security, reliability, and code quality.
- Communication: Good English; curiosity about modern tools (including AI coding tools).
- What you may ship: Backend migration services; data pipelines/APIs/analytics; Workspace & M365 integrations; internal tools; testing, monitoring, debugging, performance work.
- Logistics: Part-time at Madrid office; €1,000/month; flexible schedule/duration around university needs.
