About the Karyashala:

Accelerate Vigyan" (AV) strives to provide a big push to high-end scientific research and prepare scientific manpower that can venture into research careers and a knowledge-based economy. The main objective of the program is to impart knowledge in the area of advances in Sheet Metal Forming. The program covers the recent advances in metal forming processes, such as microstructure-based material modeling, mathematical modeling, numerical analysis of forming processes, the formability of advanced high-strength steels and their applications, micro forming, incremental sheet forming, hydroforming, their opportunities & challenges, formability at elevated temperatures, simulation studies, applications in the automotive and aerospace industries.

Eligibility: 

Karyashala is open to all the Final year UG, PG students, and research scholars from Mechanical and allied departments. Preference will be given to the students who have an interest and background in metal forming and deformation.

*Note: Only 25 candidates will be shortlisted and allowed to participate. Travel, Food, and Accommodation-related expenses will be borne by NIT Warangal for the shortlisted candidates. The participants must upload the endorsement certificate during registration.

Certificate: 

A certificate regarding the successful completion of the workshop shall be issued to the participants by the coordinators of the concerned department on satisfactory completion of the workshop.
