Overview:
Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Surat is inviting applications for a High-End Workshop on the Analysis and Optimization of Sheet Metal Forming Processes Under the KARYASHALA Scheme – A SERB Initiative. Interested ones can apply.
Objective:
- "Accelerate Vigyan" (AV) strives to provide a big push to high-end scientific research and prepare scientific manpower that can venture into research careers and a knowledge-based economy.
- The main objective of the program is to impart knowledge in the area of advances in Sheet Metal Forming.
- The program covers the recent trends in the forming processes, such as sheet metal properties, material selection, forming processes, tooling, simulation and modeling, quality control, design considerations, industry applications, future trends, applications in the automotive and aerospace industries, etc.
Who can attend:
Karyashala is open to Undergraduate final year, postgraduate students and research scholars nationwide. Preference will be given to the students who have an interest and background in metal forming and deformation.
Registration Details:
Registration Fee: There is no registration fee.
Note: Only 25 candidates will be shortlisted and allowed to participate. Travel, Food, and Accommodation-related expenses will be borne by SVNIT Surat for the shortlisted candidates. The participants must upload the endorsement certificate during registration.
