NIT Nagaland | Walk-In-Interview for JRF/PA for a Research Project (funded by DST-SERB), Apply by 12th December 2023!

Overview:

Applications are invited from Indian nationals to work as JRF/PA (one post) in a Research Project (funded by DST-SERB) at the Department of Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology Nagaland.

Title of Research Project:

"Modeling a Sustainable Municipal Solid Waste Management System for Dimapur and Kohima Districts of Nagaland in India.” (Project no. EEQ/2022/000870)

Duration of the project:

Three (03) years

Number of Positions:

One (01); JRF/PA

Essential Educational Qualification:

M.Tech in Civil Engineering/ Masters in Environmental Science/Geoinformatics. Candidate must have obtained at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA out of 10. 

Desirable:

Applicant should have preliminary knowledge/experience in Geographic Information System (GIS)

Consolidated Salary: 

1. For JRF: Rs. 31,000/- per month –plus HRA(NET/GATE)
2. For PA Rs. 25,000/- per month –plus HRA (Non-NET/GATE)

Registration:  From 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

Time of Interview: 11:00 a.m. onwards

Terms and Conditions:

• The appointment is purely temporary on a contractual basis (for either 06 months or 12 months) and can be renewed upon satisfactory performance (as per the Institute rules).
• Original documents of mark sheets/ degree/certificates/age proof and other testimonials must be presented at the time of the interview.
• No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for attending the Interview.
• The Project Investigator (PI) reserves the right to fill up the post, not to fill up the post or cancel the advertisement in whole or partly without assigning any reason.
• The decision of the PI in this regard will be final.
