IIT Kharagpur is inviting applications to hire a Project Assistant, Interested candidates can apply.

Qualifications :

Must be a graduate in any stream.

Experience Required :

• Must have at least 5 years of research experience working in an academic lab assisting various sponsored project work.
• Should be able to run and demonstrate the working principle of the programmable furnace, hydraulic press, UTM, compressive strength testing machine, and wet chemical powder synthesis units (sol-gel, wet chemical synthesis, auto combustion, etc).
• Should be able to work in a team of graduate, postgraduate, and postdoctoral personnel.
• Should be able to communicate in Hindi and English language other than her/his mother tongue. Desirable - to run dynamic and static gas sensing and calibration unit. Working knowledge in handling the process line for cylindrical rechargeable cell fabrication process line. Should be familiar with word processing program, basic graph plotting program, and be proficient in repairing small lab equipment. Willingness to learn and demonstrate any newly installed equipment as a part of her job.

Rs.21500/month
