The Electhon - 2023 30-hour offline hackathon is a platform for individuals to engage in dialogue, exchange ideas, and collaborate to elevate the electoral process in India. Its primary objective is to encourage the development of innovative and creative solutions to these challenges, utilizing technology and the skills of the participants.

Challenges:

• How can we ensure the registration of new voters in the electoral roll?

Develop a plan/prototype that can encourage the registration of new voters in the electoral system. Strategize ways that can streamline the existing voter registration process and also expedite the registration of new voters.

• How can we increase the participation of urban and youth voters in elections to ensure their involvement in the democratic process?

An election is called the festival of democracy, devise methods to engage urban and youth voters in this festival through various means such as gamified challenges, leaderboards, referral programs, etc.
