Overview
Bosch Japan is hiring a university student intern in Technology and Engineering (Mobility sector) in Kanagawa. You’ll investigate automotive cybersecurity trends in Japanese and English while supporting cross-divisional collaboration in a global automotive systems engineering team.
Key Requirements & Critical Rules
- Student status: Must be a regularly enrolled university student for the entire internship (students only).
- Duration: 6–12 months; ability to stay for the full period.
- Start date: Target 1 July 2026; as soon as possible where eligible.
- Languages: Fluent Japanese (read/write/presentation); English at business level.
- Background: Technical/IT foundation; preferred exposure to security, software, or systems engineering and automotive/IT tech.
- Cyber focus: Interest in automotive cybersecurity trends; basic security/hacking-method awareness is a plus.
- Tools: Programming skill to modify Power Automate processes; facilitation/coordination skills valued.
- Visa (non-Japanese nationals): Must be eligible for Designated Activities visa; university must confirm internship is mandatory/strongly recommended for curriculum; visa process may take up to 3 months.
- Japanese nationals / exchange students: Separate rules apply (no DA visa for Japanese nationals; exchange students on student visa with 資格外活動許可 may work part-time only).
